Sunday, May 4: Jewish Culture School. 10:30 a.m.
Friday, May 9 4: Family Shabbat 6 p.m.(call for directions 925 485 1049). A Secular Humanistic get-together for families with young kids. We sing a couple of songs, light candles and order in pizza. The kids play, the adults schmooze, and everyone is home in time for bed. $6/adult, kids free.
Sunday, May 18: Lag B'Omer picnic. 10:30 a.m. at Athan Downs Park at Montevideo and Davona in San Ramon. Meet near the play area for a morning of games, learning and socializing. Bring your own picnic lunch; we'll supply juice and cookies.
Friday, May 23 - Monday, May 26: Annual conference of the Congress of Secular Jewish Organizations. At the Workmen's Circle camp in the Hudson Valley, NY. A fun and learning-packed weekend! Interested? Go to CSJO's website for more information and registration materials.
Sunday, June 1: Jewish Culture School. 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, June 8: Shavuot celebration and annual meeting. 10:30 a.m. Tentatively at the Bothwell Center. If you've learned something new this year, we'd love for you to share at the celebration. We'll have blintzes, so bring the most interesting topping you can think of and we'll choose our favorites. Also bring your most interesting salad to share. We can use a few more blintze makers. If you can help, please call Judy at (925) 485-1049. WeÕll reimburse the cost of ingredients.
Saturday, June 21: Family Shabbat We'll meet at 3:30 in Brentwood and head to one of the near-by U-Pick Farms where we'll pick whatever's in season. Please bring a few extra dollars to pick fruit to donate to the Brown Bag food distribution program at the Brentwood Community Center. Then we'll go back for our traditional pizza dinner. $6/adult.

Jewish Culture School
Jewish Culture School is a twice-monthly Sunday School for ages 5-14 and focuses on culture and history. We sing, dance, cook, and learn about Jews everyone in every time. We still have room for more students, and our engaging program ensures that this is a Jewish school your kids will enjoy. We meet twice a month in Pleasanton.
